That ODEMI passed their CARES ACT funding to GNI Phase 1 LLC. YES this is true.

The Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians (“Tribe”) passed Tribal Resolution No. 052920-01 Appropriations of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (“CARES Act”) on May 29, 2020. Under this resolution the Tribe authorized funding to Tribally owned business to reimburse the costs of business interruption caused by required closures due to the COVID-19Pandemic. In 2020 OEDMI received $73,000 in CARES Act dollars from the Tribe. Then entire $73,000 was passed to GNI Phase I, LLC
